About Us
Hickory Grove Baptist Church resides in the rural Community of Hickory Grove located on Center Road, Bladenboro, North Carolina and currently has a membership of 292. It is the second oldest Baptist Church in Bladen County. (see History) Hickory Grove has had a Southern Baptist relationship with Bladen Baptist Association, Elizabethtown, North Carolina since 1894 and also has an association with the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina and the Southern Baptist Convention.
You will find a warm and welcoming group of people who are dedicated, loyal and have a strong desire to learn and grow in the life-transforming message of Jesus Christ. We join other Baptist in spreading the gospel around our community, region and the world.
There are many opportunities to SERVE the LORD which include our weekly services---Sunday School, Children's Church, Worship Service, Discipleship Training and Prayer Meeting. In addition, we have an active youth group and a Senior Citizen group.
Our Mission program is very active and contributes to a host of projects and associations. Our Music Ministry is one in which you will receive a very special blessing.You will be inspired as the choir uses their "God-given" talents to bring wonderful music to our Worship Service and other special musical programs. There are many other special activities that keep us busy serving and praising the Lord.
As most Baptists, we love to eat and fellowship. We have several people in our church who enjoy preparing meals for different groups and activities. There are many activities where you can enjoy a meal and participate in christian fellowship while serving the Lord!
